How we work.

Mercy Mission understands that in order to enable real change that has the potential to affect future generations, we need to make a positive impact at all levels of the Muslim community as well as in all areas of life. We have therefore structured our areas of work or ‘portfolios’ to reflect some of the areas in which we intend to work or where we aim to work in partnership with existing organisations. The portfolios broadly represent areas in which gaps have been identified or where we have been requested to support Muslim communities with issues such as interaction with wider society, educational performance, economic contribution to society andfamily relationships.

A key area of our work and one that we believe is the foundation to effective change and meaningful social engagement is education. As a result, the education portfolio overlaps all of the other portfolios, as we wish to inspire informed people to engage society and invest as much of their skills and potential as possible.
