AlKauthar: a look back at 2011
Assalamu Alaikum wa rahmatullâhi wa barakâtuhu.
All Praise be to Allah who gave us the greatest of blessings, the privilege and honour of being Muslims, the blessing of the Qur’an and Sunnah and the blessing of being able to help to establish his religion, and act as a means to guide people to the truth.
Over the year, Alhamdulillah we have seen AlKauthar continue to grow. Alhamdulillah this year saw the launch of AlKauthar in Dhaka (Bangladesh), Bradford (UK) and Brisbane (Australia). We would like to thank all the volunteers who tirelessly work and our dedicated teachers, May Allah reward them all.
We have in 2011 developed our processes, raised the standards in students’ experience, introduced new tutors and courses, enhanced our current courses, developed our marketing resources and launched a new website. We have achieved many things but at the same time we know we have a long way to go and so this is a good time for us all to reflect on what we achieved in the year that has passed.
Over 13,000 students worldwide attended an AlKauthar course in 2011, not to mention the various conferences, Ramadan TV viewers, Student guild members and many other Mercy Mission initiatives. We want to aim even higher in 2012, change even more lives, inspire even more people to come to the truth and be part of something very special that we pray will be of great benefit to us on the day of Judgement.
Finally I would like to congratulate Sydney for being the most improved city and Manchester for being the city providing the best course experience. It was a close run race with any one of four cities able to win it in the end. May Allah reward you all and I hope you all win on the Day of Judgement. Ameen.
