World House Party Day is an innovative fundraising initiative through which Mercy Mission has been able to raise £100,000 to support Islamic Awareness campaigns during Ramadan in Australia and the UK. The concept is simple. Hold a (halal) party in your area, have a good time, spread the message of Islam and raise money for the awareness campaigns.
In 2010, Muslims in the UK, Australia, South Africa and Canada partied for Islam as part of the World House Party Day. With the money raised, Mercy Mission and its partners ran a campaign to proactively engage non-Muslims during the month of Ramadan in the UK and Australia.
