International Operations Manager, AlKauthar Institute

Akhter Raouf oversees the education portfolio of AlKauthar International; the pioneer of Islamic education in Mercy Mission International. Since starting off as the London city ameer 3 years ago, Akhter has taken on increasing responsibility and currently holds the position of International Operations Manager and also serves in the Shura of AlKauthar.

His current role involves managing the ameers of all AlKauthar cities around the world to ensure they provide the best possible educational experience to their community.

Akhter takes a hands-on interest in team development and is responsible for mentoring new teams as they join this growing movement. He is very detail oriented and has an uncanny ability of recognizing and developing the strengths of team members. He has successfully introduced standard processes, where necessary, yet allowing the teams to flourish in their own locales.

In addition to his international responsibility, he also serves on the board An-Noor School in UK. He is the father of Abdallah and runs his own business with his brother, Raheem.
