Building Partnerships.
Mercy Mission recognizes that the required changes for the Ummah are a collective responsibility of all the Muslims and cannot be placed on the shoulders of just a few individuals. Hence, we seek to build partnerships and alliances with like-minded organizations and individuals who are also working for the betterment of our communities. It is with this understanding that the following principles are formed and are at the core of how we aim to work:
- We build strategic networks with our peers
- We collaborate rather than compete with our peers on limited resources.
- We remind ourselves that all of us serve the larger mission, and that the ultimate vision and true collaboration means to even help our competition succeed.
- We help them and collaborate with them so that together we build larger networks.
- We share with them our resources including monetary, human resources and talent, organizational expertise and influence, contacts and links.
- We do this since it is from our values to do so and since ultimately it is in the self-interest of achieving our vision.
Our collaboration does not stop at only Muslim organizations and individuals. We at Mercy Mission are also keen on developing strong relationships with governmental and non-governmental agencies. Various Mercy Mission chapters worldwide are constantly working on creating new partnerships and building bridges with those who have similar interests in improving and bettering the lives of communities where Muslims live.
