The Zamzam Environmental Sustainability Program (ZESP) is a comprehensive program of related projects aimed at the protection of our environment by raising community awareness, education and behaviour change, deployment of environmentally friendly equipment at community centres and assisting Muslim home owners in living sustainable life styles.
The Zamzam Green Home (ZGH) project aims to provide necessary advice, suggestions and motivation to Muslims in achieving sustainable living in their homes. Understanding our responsibility and practicing Islamic teachings of sustainable living are the main objectives of this project InshaAllah.
Benefits
- Participants will be provided with some useful tips and guidance on water saving, energy saving and waste management practices in day to day life.
- Further guidance and resources will be provided for those who are interested in sustainable living.
- Participants will be able to learn about money-saving techniques and will become model citizens which the the community can look to in the practice of sustainable living in their homes.
Cost
This project is delivered free of charge for the interested participants.
Who can participate?
Any Muslim, who would like to practice sustainable living in their home, can participate in this project.
