AAIC re-branded to Twins of Faith in 2012 by introducing a new global conference:
In pursuit of His pleasure examines the very purpose of our existence. It is a look into the journey we all take to earn the love of our Lord. It is a look into our very identity as Muslims- the worship of Allah (sbt) and the pursuit of His pleasure. Seeking His pleasure is a part of our daily lives; in the mosque, in our homes, in our relationships, in our communities and in our own spiritual relationship with Allah (sbt). This journey can be difficult and pursuing His pleasure can come with trials along the way. However it is an investment, and journey towards the best of destinations.
In Pursuit of His pleasure will explore
- The purpose of our existence
- Pursuing His pleasure through God consciousness
- What happens when the pursuit gets tough
- Striving for excellence to earn His pleasure
- Lessons of those who earned His pleasure in the past
Objectives and Description

Conference Format
The conference is conducted over three days, usually over the Easter long weekend. The conference schedule includes lectures, workshops, and panel discussions. There is plenty of opportunity for delegates to engage with speakers and to ask questions. Delegates are also be entertained by quality local anasheed.
Conference Facilities
The conference also includes a “bazaar” area that contains a variety of stalls showcasing Muslim business and service organisations, as well as those non-Muslim organisations that are seeking to raise awareness amongst the Australian Muslim community. Delegates are able to purchase halal food from stalls at the venue. There are also facilities for delegates to make wudhu and to perform the prayers in congregation. Furthermore, the conference is a family-friendly environment such that parents who need to bring their children with them will be able to do so inshaAllah.
