The Education Portfolio is central to the work of Mercy Mission and key to the achievement of our vision. We believe that educati on in our communiti es is important in order for Muslims to improve themselves as individuals and make a positive contribution to society.

AlKauthar Institute is the jewel in the crown of Mercy Mission. Founded on enriching lives through knowledge, AlKauthar has galvanised leading scholars and students of knowledge to teach the fundamentals of this religion to Muslims in a language, style and manner they respect and understand. Aqeedah, Fiqh and Usool are now the food and drink of the students of AlKauthar, as they quench their thirst for knowledge while increasing their hunger for paradise.
Since the launch of the Institute in Australia 5 years ago, the fusion of quality instructors, fine venues, and the best learning materials has led to an unprecedented growth rate without compromising the world class “AlKauthar Experience”. On average, the Institute is opening up in one new country every year. It is enabling thousands of aspiring students of knowledge to develop their understanding in a range of Islamic sciences, as well as having the opportunity to mature their character in accordance with Islamic teachings and values, thereby demonstrating the true beauty of Islam to humanity.

Currently AlKauthar students fuel the core human resource requirements of Mercy Mission; with a view of ensuring that all the projects and programmes the movement operates are done so with a people driven by winning the pleasure of Allah.

AlKauthar Institute now operates on average one seminar per week across the world. Students are taken through a 47 module syllabus over a period of five years, graduating at the end with an Alkauthar Degree.

The AlKauthar program has been designed to provide busy professional Muslims with an opportunity to acquire knowledge through university level single weekend seminars. The focus is to empower them to tread the journey of knowledge in a manner which suits their lifestyle and knowledge requirements as citizens of the modern world. Furthermore, scholarship funds are established in order to financially assist students of knowledge in need
