Sh Alaa El Syed is the Director of Public Relations at Mercy Mission and one of the instructors of Mercy Mission’s AlKauthar Institute.

Sheikh Alaa has had extensive experience working with Youth and Families in Canada; in Youth programs and also counseling and mediation. Alongside his vibrant personality and engaging demeanor, his professional experience and his own personal background of being a family man, makes him the best person to go through this 8 week journey with.
